TRUE ANNAPOLIS/CHESAPEAKE IS EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE TRYOUTS FOR THE 2020-2021 SEASON!

True Lacrosse is committed to the education and development of young men and women in the sport of lacrosse. Our mission is to provide the most comprehensive training and experience to create exceptional athletes, while instilling confidence, integrity and leadership skills they can employ both on and off the field. Driven by our four pillars- Passion, Energy, Expertise and Reps- our staff combine knowledge, experience and enthusiasm, allowing us to offer the best service, products and guidance necessary to further develop the fastest game on two feet.

For over 10 years, True Lacrosse has maintained its standing as the leader in training and developing high level athletes. Through more training hours and opportunities, experienced coaches, access to elite tournaments, and thorough recruiting guidance, True Lacrosse players are some of the top athletes in the area.

Please join us for our Boys True Annapolis/Chesapeake Two Day Tryout at Indian Creek Lower School August 22nd and August 23rd at Kent Island American Legion Post 278. We encourage all players who want to join a program that will help not only develop their lacrosse talent but teach them to be leaders on and off the field. True is all about the fundamentals of lacrosse and finding that balance of understanding family and hard work today and how that those together will mold our youth to be leaders in society for tomorrow.

Additionally, when you join the True Family, you become part of a supportive network of coaches, parents, and young athletes who work together to create a positive, educational environment in which players can fulfill their potential and become their best selves. The lessons and skills they learn on the field will serve them throughout their daily lives, lessons such as teamwork, accountability, leadership, and hard work.

We welcome and invite players from high school graduating classes 2024-2030 to tryout for the 2020-2021 season with True Annapolis/Chesapeake.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Do I have to attend both days of tryouts?: It is not required but strongly recommended to ensure the fair assessment of each player.
  2. Are the teams split strictly geographically? - No, we will be putting the players on teams based on that player's specific skill set and talent. Strongest team is assembled first and then we place players.
  3. Will Annapolis or Chesapeake be the A team? - We have not gotten that far yet, we need to get the players on the field and evaluate where we are at.
  4. Where will teams practice & train? - We have access to the following locations: AACC, Severn, St. Marys, Kent Island HS, The Edge Arena, Bat Neck Park, Legion Fields, and many more. Each team will be accessed to create an accessible opportunity for families.
  5. Who will the coaches be? We will be announcing coaches shortly, follow us on social and check the website regularly.
  6. Any individual questions please direct to rcremen@truelacrosse.com, keep in mind lots of questions are going to be answered post tryouts as things become clearer.
